Our office in Louisville, KY has a new opening for a Market Manager position. The Market Manager is responsible for setting the goals of the department, understanding the importance of building and maintaining customer relationships, increasing the sales department’s revenue, expanding the company’s current market share, enhancing our customer’s satisfaction, and optimizing our sales processes. As a Market Manager, you will be in charge of the monitoring and the commercial development of the company in allocated sales areas within the Sales Department.
The ideal candidate possesses tremendous leadership experience, strong customer service skills, and proven negotiating skills. This position will report to the East Coast Regional Sales Director on development of new business, execution of the established action plan, and the ongoing progress of the company’s commercial efficiency.
Evaluate informational reports to identify new clients, estimate future sales, and understand the profits and objectives.
Capture the needs of the customer to qualify sales leads and efforts.
Actively attend company organized trade shows and seminars
Suggest promotional or advertising materials specific to your Area
Lead and manage
Establish sales territories and quotas while evaluating performance of local and regional sales managers.
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate strategies of the department and future sales goals.
Monitor the achievement of the sales objectives defined for the entire Sales Area
Organize relations with The Company’s internal departments necessary to carry out the commercial objectives
Maintain customer focus
Work with the team to evaluate new customer goals and assist with identifying solutions that will meet their need.
Manage the distribution network in the allocated sales area
Coordinate the management of customer quality claims
Handle any complaints from the customer and any other problems that may affect the sales operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration preferred
Three years of direct sales experience required
Technical understanding of the CRM system
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
