We are looking for SALES MANAGER, LATIN AMERICAS to join our team in USA.
What will you get to do?
Develops and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate business goals in Latin America
Work closely with the sales channel to expand the business of paperboard packaging
Maintain/develops current accounts as well as investigates means of back selling, end user visits to develop new business
Plans sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
Prospects new business, sells to established and new accounts
Reviews market analyses and other market research material in order to determine customer needs, pricing schedules, and discounts
Directs channel development activity and co-ordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
Monitors and evaluates activities and products of the competition
Expected performance outputs include sales revenue/profit growth for the assigned region and effective sales budget management
Forecasts and analyses customer demand and market situations on regular basis and adjusts long/short term sales targets and supply plans in case of changes in business environment
Initiates, builds, develops and maintains good relationship and business with most important customers and brand owners as well as with customer service and other functions in the company
Adheres to pricing and trading terms within parameters set by the business area
Stays updated on any relevant matters that may have an effect on business, customer relations and performance of own sales team and customer service.

“What are we expecting of you?
5-7 years or more in sales experience within Consumer Packaging business area or in the industry
Degree or similar professional qualification
Deep knowledge of customers industry area , relevant Metsä product range, and the overall market
Proven track record in sales and sales management
Natural feel and understanding of customer relations
Good verbal and written communications
Presentation skills
Ability to travel 80% of the time
Ability to travel aboard
CRM reporting
English and Spanish speaking
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, power point, excel and word
Packaging converting process experience ( at least 5 years)
Printing ( offset-flexo) knowledge
Die cutting knowledge ( flatbed and rotary)
