Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of the buying process for our prospects. Your goal will be to help sell AgencyBloc’s platform of solutions. This includes AMS+ Sales Enablement, Commissions+, and Q+. Working alongside our Inside and Key Account/Enterprise Sales Teams, the SE will bring an in-depth knowledge of our AgencyBloc platform and be able to provide guidance on how best to navigate and overcome technical challenges during the buying cycle. This individual will also work closely with and be a key component to the handoff process from Sales to Onboarding and Customer Success.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy:

  • Strategize with the sales team to identify the most effective approach for prospects to prefer and buy from AgencyBloc over the competition, considering implementation, pricing, and scope.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop and understand AgencyBloc's suite of products, features, and updates.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure clients receive the most relevant and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product leadership in order to provide a strong conduit of feedback based on client & prospect needs (opportunities, gaps, etc).

Client Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the AgencyBloc Sales Executive and prospects to understand their business objectives, workflows, and pain points.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging AgencyBloc to address specific challenges and improve customer efficiency.

Product Demonstrations:

  • Work alongside the Sales Executive to conduct tailored product demonstrations showcasing how AgencyBloc meets the unique needs of individual clients.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions.
  • Provide recommendations on best practices, system configurations, and workflow optimizations to maximize the value of AgencyBloc.

Product Development Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the product management team and the Sales Executive to address client inquiries and issues.
  • Stay abreast of product strategy & roadmap.
  • Provide valuable insights to help improve the product based on client feedback.
  • Evangelize the product vision.
  • Redirect inquires that are not in line with priorities appropriately.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Independently support RFPs and security questionnaires.
  • Independently support trial/sandbox setup.
  • Assist at trade shows, user conferences, and sales meetings as required.

Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Software or related field desirable and three to five years relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of B2B experience in pre-sales, sales, or customer success focused on multi-tenant SaaS business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience executing detailed product presentations to decision makers and users.
