What Is The Position

The Sales Enablement specialist uses their experience in educational technology sales to train and coach the various roles within the Edmentum sales team. This role works with product and education subject matter experts to design and deliver high impact learning experiences tailored to the various sales roles. This role is key partner with sales management and training program management to incrementally adjust behaviors of team members to more effectively generate and maintain revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Design and execute on learning experiences that will continuously improve the sales teams' ability to land and expand revenue opportunities.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Edmentum Sales roles responsibilities and skills, a prerequisite for designing high-quality professional learning programs for internal teams and customers.
  • In collaboration with training program management, partner with Sales leadership to identify short- and long-term professional development goals related to supporting the sales teams.
  • Deliver training designed to lead to certification program for sales spanning from onboarding and role-specific skills training to continuing education, inclusive of required and optional learning activities, accountability and success measures, feedback tools, and incentives.
  • Partner with colleagues in Customer Success Enablement to design and deliver cross-functional learning to enhance the Sales / Customer Success partnership and support key milestones in the customer journey.
  • Work in collaboration with the enablement team to effectively monitor the quality of internal professional learning delivery by developing a set of measurable outcomes and through both quantitative and qualitative analysis of data and report out to leadership.
  • Develop a sales mentorship opportunity and coaching program to support ongoing growth and development.
  • Travel required up to 25%
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Experience Is Required

  • At least 5 years of experience in Educational Technology Sales.
  • Experience in coaching/training and/or leading sales teams strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Edmentum products preferred.
  • Degree and/or experience in K12 education leadership preferred.
  • Degree in learning design and technology or related field desired
  • Strategic and systems thinking skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to plan, organize, prioritize and direct job responsibilities
  • Results-oriented, with strong initiative
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
