The Sales Director will have responsibility for the sales, profitability, and strategy of the EdgePro business within the Endodontics portfolio of Healthcare Specialties Group. The role is responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for the business working closely within a dotted line matrix environment together with our consolidated and non-consolidated partners and Henry Schein shared services.
The Sales Director is accountable for leadership, innovation and strategy that will ensure market share growth, new market development and profitability in line with strategic goals and values. The role includes responsibility for leader development, coaching, and tactical direction & support as well as contributing at a senior level to overall portfolio strategy.
Essential Functions:
Overall accountability for the sales of EdgePro through the commercial team.
Overall accountability for the EdgePro P&L within the EdgeEndo business operation
Provide short- and long-term vision, strategy, and guidance to address competitive and changing market dynamics that results in growth beyond the market average.
Develop and recommend annual and long-range strategic plans including forecasting and budgeting
Work with the EdgePro supplier to develop next-generation technology to continue to fuel growth through innovation
Develop and communicate new strategies and tactics focused on accelerating sales through enhanced use of metric driven management and digital tools
Lead the sales, sales support and installation teams fostering goal achievement, team building, communication and joint problem solving
Design and implement standards of accountability that can be used to focus, guide, and set high standards of performance in order to achieve business results.
Identify, recruit, incent, develop and retain best-in-class talent to ensure future succession planning throughout the organization
Monitor staff goals and targets closely to ensure expected progression is being made
Identify and develop new market opportunities

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Communication, Finance, Economics, or related area of studies.
Minimum seven years demonstrated working history supporting sales in commercial operations preferably in the field of life sciences with emphasis on high-tech / high growth environment
Established track record of supporting high-functioning sales teams in a hyper-growth. environment as proven by the ability to scale commensurately with increasing sales and gross margin impact.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MBA
In-depth familiarity with Sales Force CRM platform, data monitor with experience in generating reports for lead generation, sales process flow, and activity review for all field-based sales personnel
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will oversee The Areas Sales Management Team, EdgePro and the Program Manager, EdgePro.
