Sales Director, West Coast Territory Sales

The Sales Director will create and implement the commercial strategy for the assigned customers/territory to deliver agreed sales and gross margin targets. They will prospect new accounts and partner with existing customers to drive above market growth for Irca group products. This role will focus on clients such as Branded manufacturers. The new Sales Director will cover clients in the West Coast regions of the US.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Proactively seek out new contacts and quickly build rapport with customers within their market/portfolio
- Leverage multi-lens insights (customer, EUM, Market, competitor) to identify and prioritize a pipeline of commercial growth opportunities for Irca and the account base, aligning Irca resource and effort accordingly
- Interprets customer strategies and needs against solutions/services/platforms; structuring the account investment plan to deliver against prioritized opportunities
- Leverage key insights to shape the annual customer plan, ensuring that objectives are broken down into tangible initiatives
- Define account growth ambitions, outcomes & initiatives, with clear volume, revenue, and margin mix targets.
- Leverages insights to shape objectives for customer engagements and deliver compelling messages to lead and influence the growth agenda.
- Uses key performance data to build understanding of the customer P&L; identifying key profitability levers, using basic scenario modelling to identify and validate opportunities.
- Effectively applies a breadth of commercial levers to optimize immediate and sustainable profitability.
- Capable of structuring conditional customer agreements within defined governance framework; can identify opportunities for long-term contracting to build sustainable partnerships with selected priority customers that want to grow with Irca.
- Builds relationships based on credibility and develops empathetic dialogue to help strengthen relationships.
- Partner with branded manufacturers around the West Coast Regions
- Minimum of 3–5-year track record of beating market growth rates.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) – Business, Communications, and or Marketing related fields for example
- Compelling and engaging communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Highly motivated, high-energy individual with a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
- Outgoing, competitively driven and collaborative.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Road-warrior mentality with flexibility to travel up to 55% when necessary.
