The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting, developing new business opportunities, and managing existing customer accounts. This involves responsibility for all internal and external related activity throughout the business cycle, including target marketing, account development, quoting, sampling, contract review, securing production business, and on-going management of customer relations.
This position helps define organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It is their job to work with the internal team to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue for the company by finding potential new customers, presenting to them, ultimately converting them into clients, and continuing to grow the business.
This position requires an energetic, self-starter with a hunger to chase and close new business generated from cold calls, website and trade show leads, and further penetration of existing customers. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while interfacing with all levels of the organization are important.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of sales and business development experience in the flexographic printing and/or converting industry
