Sales Analyst

Fairwinds Sales Executive is looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to perform inside sales support. This is a critical function that enables Account Executive to focus her efforts on selling and client facing activities. The sales analyst responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes with sales and operations, providing customer service as needed, and managing customer accounts. This position’s primary function is to assist the sales team. Duties include coordinating with Account Executive and her team, helping to complete routine administrative functions, including assistance with Salesforce, helping facilitate quotes, coordination between sales and operations and finance on a variety of matters as needed. The individual must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Location: Local to Aberdeen Proving Ground is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for maximizing revenue.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor and track sales performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets.

RequirementsQualifications:

  • Self-Starter:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
  • Task-Oriented:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Highly Proficient in Excel:
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools and Microsoft suite is a plus.
  • Salesforce Experience:
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM system for tracking and updating pipeline.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with defense industry knowledge of contracts and regulations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of market research, competition, and pricing is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales analysis or DoD industry.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time, exempt position.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to possess a valid Secret security clearance.
