The Account Manager (AM) is a key member of the Client Services team, reporting to the Sales Director. The AM will possess deep knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry, demonstrating an assertive approach in the discovery of new business opportunities. The role is characterized by a proactive pursuit of potential clients and a concerted effort to grow HDM's signature service lines.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years’ recent experience in selling IT Services into Hospitals and Health Systems.
  • Established relationships in the hospital / healthcare IT sector.
  • Strong business acumen, technically oriented with a consultative selling approach.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Completion of previous sales and professional development training
  • Demonstrated consistent achievement of sales targets in excess of $1M annually.
  • An understanding of the full lifecycle process for EHR/ERP implementations, upgrades, support, and optimization.
  • Ability to clearly define HDM’s key business differentiators and unique value proposition.
  • Independently identify, qualify, and drive opportunities towards successful conclusion.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities at least four times (4x) established quota.
  • Own the creation, coordination, and delivery of customized proposals in response to client RFP and solution requests.
  • Accurately document and maintain customer leads, communications, contact information and account opportunity plans within the CRM system.
  • Live within driving distance of a major airport with ability to travel up to 50% while abiding by HDM’s expense policy.
  • Represent HDM at industry conferences and events.

  • Work Hours: Standard business hours
