Voxelmaps is building the world’s most accurate 4D volumetric model of the earth, combining high-resolution scans using the latest LiDAR and HD imaging sensors, fused with a wide variety of other rich content. The result is a new form of mapping which provides superior levels of accuracy, information, and insight. Voxelmaps has developed a patented technology that divides the planet into a dense matrix of multi-resolution voxels (3D pixel), with each voxel having a permanent location and address. The automated feature extraction is performed on this model using Voxelmaps’ developed AI software tools.
Description
Voxelmaps is building a highly-skilled Sales Team to facilitate our growth in the Geospatial Mapping Data Collection and User/UX Studies space. As a key member of the sales team, you will use your interpersonal skills to develop relationships to become a trusted advisor to our clients. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working with cutting edge technology to provide solutions to complex problems encountered by our prospective clients. You will manage all aspects of the pursuit and capture of new projects. You will act as liaison between the end client and various departments within the Company, and coordinate all components of the customer’s sales process, from the beginning to the end.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Salary: $100k-$120k salary, plus 60% OTE commissions
Location: San Francisco, CA region. Remotely based, work from home position, but must live in SF Bay Area and be available to occasionally travel to customer site locations throughout the USA.

- Generate new business in the Bay Area with major tech companies using existing and potential customer networks
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Establish a network with prospect decision-makers in order to develop new business
- Act as the primary point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Prospect and develop opportunities to contract/partner with prospects that have a need for Geospatial Mapping and User/UX Studies solutions
- Clearly articulate the strength and value proposition of Voxelmaps
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for business growth
- Understand the key business drivers within an organization and identify key business stakeholders
- Understand the client’s budgeting and acquisition processes
- Develop pricing models and write winning proposals
- Effectively utilize and leverage the company’s CRM (Pipedrive) to manage opportunities and drive the buying process
- Maintain leads and opportunities in CRM on a regular basis
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars (as required)
- Be resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues
- 3-5+ years of quota carrying sales experience in the tech sector selling AI/VR data collection, User/UX Studies and/or related data collection field work. Geospatial understanding/experience a plus.
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Connections in the Tech Sector community, with direct access to these contacts.
- The ability to understand the key business drivers within an organization and identify key business stakeholders and business opportunities
- Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude and solid logic skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral/written), presentation and negotiation skills
- Intermediate to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (specifically Pipedrive)
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
