About The Role

Seedrid is hiring a safety engineer to guide our safety requirements, process, and customer interactions. This individual will work closely with our sales teams, customers, and engineering to enhance our safety culture and help deliver safe solutions for our customers. A comprehensive understanding of robotic safety standards, best practices and process is essential for success.

Responsibilities Include

  • Understanding the various safety standards that must be followed with robotic material management systems.
  • Interact with engineering to define safety requirements and ensure effective evaluation of performance against those standards.
  • Documenting the safety profile of material management solutions.
  • Work with customers and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Managing the safety of solutions throughout the lifecycle of products.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Robotics or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in functional safety design and development processes.
  • Ability to travel to meet customers and collaborate with team members.
  • Effective communication to identify and articulate safety concerns to team members.
  • 3+ years of experience in safety engineering.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Participation in various safety standard organizations.
  • Experience implementing safety functions in autonomous vehicle industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers to design solutions to solve safety concerns.
