Ross/DD’s Sales & Account Manager: Roles & Responsibilities


  • Sales support:
  • Working closely with Sales team to assist & manage the account where needed, in a fast paced environment. Must have the ability to stay organized & prioritize daily task lists. Help to proactively solve problems & working with team members in organizing/streamlining our internal processes. Helping with front end sales & sales projects as requested. Communicate effectively & tactfully to accomplish goals with positive attitude.
  • Helping to work across multiple departments to make sure timelines are being met: including art, costing, & samples. Helping to follow up with teams where needed, tracking project ETA’s.
  • Samples: helping to organize samples/sample details prior to buyer meetings where appropriate, helping to track incoming samples needed for meetings.
  • Reviewing customer tracking reports on frequent basis, following up with buyers for PO’s or other updates where needed. Send buyers weekly on order reports, noting any changes where updates are needed. Learning to use & become proficient in IML software platforms & reporting.
  • Must be experienced & competent in Excel. Data analysis & V-lookup skills a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented & able to keep accurate records.


  • Product Life Cycle: Follow orders through their entire production cycle from initial design to final shipment.
  • Helping to keep orders on track, following up with team members on order issues or updates where needed.
  • Helping monitor order set-ups & order entry to make sure orders are being submitted promptly.
  • Partnering with licensing team to keep approvals on track, helping to push where needed.
  • Help to make sure information is consistent across all depts, help to catch any inconsistencies in production notes or to clarify for production teams how to proceed.
  • Helping to maintain WIP’s & be an active participant in weekly production meetings. Work closely with production department, following up on issues or needs discussed in weekly meetings.


  • Buyer Communications:
  • Communicating with buyers on order timelines or order updates where needed.
  • Prioritizing urgent routing requests from buyers to make sure they are handled promptly.
  • Helping to organize buyer new order details & feedback. (Most common & important is for Jrs dept)
  • Other buyer communications as needed or requested.
