Ride Operator
Total compensation: $12.00.
Life has its ups and downs, and its twists and turns. And you’ll deliver them to our guests in a big way! You may even throw people for a loop when turning their world upside-down. And you’ll do it in a way that ensures the highest standards of safety and security.
What You Get To Do
As a Ride Operator, you’ll provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Your positive attitude and can-do spirit will make all the difference as you help create positive, lasting memories for our guests. You will:
Monitor and operate rides, ensure all safety regulations are being met
Complete opening safety checklists and test rides prior to opening rides to guests
Assist in loading and unloading guests from ride
Ensure all guests meet the rider requirements
Greet and interact with guests
Answer questions and resolve guest issues
Advise guests on show times and attraction information
Facilitate an organized guest traffic flow
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas
Ensure guest safety at ride locations
Perform other duties as assigned
What Else Is Important
At least 18 years of age
Strong communication and public speaking skills
Must be able to act responsibly with a high attention to safety
Excellent multi-tasking abilities
Ability to train on and properly use protective equipment
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds
Must be comfortable with heights
You must successfully pass the company provided and paid American Red Cross certification trainings to include CPR and AED
Must maintain a professional appearance to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
Comfortable working around water and animals
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines
