RIA Market Consultant

About the Job:

Zacks Investment Management is seeking an RIA Business Consultant with experience and insight into the RIA advisor market. The successful candidate will be able to engage independent advisors and raise assets by providing solutions from Zacks RIA Services.

Based in Chicago, Zacks Investment Management (ZIM) advises over $17 billion in AUM/AUA across our suite of proprietary products. ZIM leverages the data-driven and fundamental research from Zacks Investment Research to manage a range of model portfolios and custom solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

- Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns within your territory.

- Prospecting:Target, identify, and connect with RIAs most likely to benefit from Zacks solutions.

- Consultative Sales: Communicate solutions to enhance the investment business of the RIA’s within the Northeast.

- Collaboration: Work closely with our team of portfolio specialists, national accounts and portfolio management to deliver solutions.

- Industry Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to effectively position the firm and its strategies.

- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular reports and updates to senior management and compliance.


Qualifications:

- Experience: 5-10 years of sales experience in the investment management industry, with a focus on wholesaling. Experience in the RIA market is a plus.

- Track Record: Proven track record of raising significant assets and achieving sales targets.

- Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment products and strategies, financial markets, and the regulatory environment.

- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with prospects and clients, and attend industry conferences and events.
