Our client is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Supervisor to oversee their North Dakota and Montana upstream oil and gas assets. Based in Downtown Houston, TX, this role involves leading a team, managing special projects, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and supervise the revenue accounting team.
Lead special projects.
Review monthly 3-stream revenue accruals, actuals, and journal entries for operated and non-operated properties.
Oversee monthly Marketing Accounting accruals, actuals, and journal entries.
Review PPAs for operated properties.
Manage monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
Handle the monthly revenue check-write process.
Provide technical support and industry expertise.
Maintain SOX controls, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
10 years of experience in Revenue Accounting, oil & gas preferred.
3 years of supervisory or lead experience.
