Premier Retirement Plan Services (Premier RPS) is an ERISA Consulting Firm that serves as a Third Party Administrator (TPA) for our clients' retirement plans. We differentiate ourselves with our clients by providing personalized services covering all types of retirement plans. That, along with our experienced staff, averaging over 25 years in the retirement plan industry, has allowed us to maintain extremely high client retention rates. We have employees that are members of both NIPA and ASPPA, an Enrolled Actuary, ERPAs, and an ERISA attorney making up the Premier family. We pride ourselves in our industry involvement, and we actively participate in ongoing education and training of individuals and businesses within our industry.


Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for an Experienced Retirement Plan Consultant. Candidates will be responsible for all facets of annual retirement plan administration for a block of clients. The typical duties include data scrubbing, contribution calculations, trust accounting, testing, the annual administration reports, and Form 5500 filings. In addition, the position requires the ability to communicate directly with the assigned block of clients regarding the administrative work, the plan document and design, and any regulatory issues. The position would be one in our team of consultants and assistants whose primary purpose is to make the lives of our clients a little easier when it comes to their retirement plans. There would also be opportunities for growth professionally at the personal and company levels for those with the desire and aptitude.


Qualifications

  • Direct experience providing TPA services.
  • Credentials in retirement plan industry (NIPA/ASPPA/ERPA/EA) are highly preferred.
  • Expertise in Defined Contribution administration is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles.
  • Strong Microsoft Skills (Word/Excel).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and remotely but able to come together as part of the team.
  • Experience with Defined Benefit plans as an administrator or with an outsourced actuary is a bonus.
  • Compensation will be based on actual work experience and expertise.
