Retention Marketing Manager

We're Stimulate—a retention marketing agency for high-growth DTC brands. We use email, SMS, subscriptions, loyalty programs, and more to drive customer lifetime value and client profitability.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an Email & SMS strategist to join our agency. This position will manage client relationships, build bespoke retention strategies, implement those strategies across client email and SMS channels, and oversee performance & reporting.

Working alongside the creative team, your main objective in this role is to improve and optimize customer life cycles and help our clients grow profitably.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact and project manager for some of Stimulate's clients.
• Create the monthly email & SMS campaign & automation strategy for each client.
• Oversee the creative production process for your team, from brief ideation and creative implementation to segmentation, scheduling, and deployment. You'll be responsible for ensuring all deliverables meet our quality & performance standards, and are delivered on-time.
• Build performance reports that make sense of the data and present thoughtful insights and next steps for each client.
• Stay up to date on emerging retention best practices and continuously recommend new approaches, innovative ideas, and/or technologies to deliver on client KPIs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience in the email/SMS/retention marketing space.
• 2+ years using Klaviyo or a similar ESP.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ambitious, resilient, and eager to learn.
• Works well in a team environment and loves to collaborate.
• A self-motivated leader with resilience, drive, and eagerness to learn.
