We’re currently hiring for a permanent, full-time position for a Showroom Supervisor in the French Quarter showroom.
ROLE: The Showroom supervisor will coordinate the operations of our showroom.
The role would require minor inventory management and visual merchandising, greeting walk-in customers, retail sales of copper lanterns, furniture, antiques, and accessories, as well as being a support to Lighting Designers in the lighting selection process. Enthusiastic and dynamic employees who apply themselves have the potential for promotion in our ever-growing company. We are looking for someone who is willing to work Full Time. Our stores are open Monday through Saturday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Management level retail experience a plus
Excellent organizational skills
Self-starter with a strong work ethic
Able to work late afternoon/evenings and weekend shifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask
Team Player
Sales Experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand up and meet/greet customers, talk to create open line of communication; listen to customer’s needs; walk with customers and/or be physically available every 2-5 minutes depending on interest; touch; type and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift lanterns and products, up to 25 pounds, walk between retail locations and travel up/downstairs.
