Wipro is a leading Engineering Services provider globally. Wipro is looking for a dynamic business leader with experience in direct sales of Engineering services to its North America business focusing on Retail, Logistics, Transportation and Professional services Sector. Prior experience in Retail is a must. Experience in the Transportation and Logistics sector will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Business development and sales strategy for existing/new customers in North America for Wipro Engineering
  • Understand customer business needs and craft a value proposition to position Wipro’s Engineering offerings.
  • Own and drive RFI / RFP responses. Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders (Account, Practice, Alliance, Delivery, Finance and Legal teams) to ensure development of best solution and proposal leading to deal closure.
  • Build and nurture network for business growth.
  • Own the order booking and revenue commit numbers for the business, focusing on high quality / sticky and differentiated deals.
  • customer relationship management from an engineering services perspective
  • Ensure Year-on-Year business growth through both Strategic and tactical approaches for revenue and order book.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science Engineering. MBA from reputed institute is an added advantage.
  • 8 to 12 years of Industry experience with at least 5 years in sales / account management role selling engineering solutions like IOT, warehouse mgmt., fleet management etc.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and technology areas like software, Cloud engineering, Data engineering, AI/ML etc.
  • Should have prior experience of selling software engineering services and delivering to quota.
  • Should be proficient in written and verbal communication. Should be capable of presenting proposals, offerings, solutions to customer.
  • Should have good problem-solving skills and should be an excellent team player.
