As of May 8, 2024, Le Groupe Stelpro and Innovair Solutions have formed a strategic alliance to strengthen their position in the North American market. This alliance capitalizes on the combined expertise of the two teams in electric heating and HVAC, as well as on the excellence of the manufacturing and distribution units spread over 16 sites across 4 countries. These combined strengths will enable us to offer a diversified range of thermal comfort and air quality solutions, meeting the needs of the residential, commercial, industrial and institutional markets, under 15 renowned brands.


YOUR MISSION


The primary mission of this role is to develop, manage, analyze, and implement strategies aligned with the company's business plan objectives specifically for the American retail market. The incumbent will play a key role in the success of Groupe Stelpro by maximizing both commercial performance and sales profitability with American retailers, including major national accounts.


This role involves building a strong network of manufacturer representatives and establishing new strategic alliances to increase market share and drive retail sales growth.

This position is crucial for our expansion and continued success in the United States and will be well-supported by the Group's resources.


WHAT WE OFFER:


  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies in line with the company's business plan objectives to maximize our entry into the U.S. market;
  • Forge new business relationships, develop a network of partners (manufacturing agents), and lead negotiations of commercial agreements in the U.S. territory;
  • Identify, select, and develop new strategic alliances to increase our market share;
  • Establish and manage revenue and expense budgets for your business segment by authorizing strategic expenditures;
  • Analyze sales performance, monitor market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure revenue growth and achieve profitability goals;
  • Conduct professional presentations and demonstrations to showcase our products;
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences to represent the Group and its interests ;
  • Maintain continuous competitive intelligence to influence our product portfolio, pricing positioning, and optimal customer offering.


This position requires regular travel within the U.S. territory to develop new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships. The candidate must reside in the United States.


WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED?


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing profile or any other academic or professional training that justifies the required skills.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in sales within the retail sector in the American market.
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • An excellent negotiator who understands the needs of his partners and his organization.
  • Motivating and collaborative leader capable of building high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies with strong skills in analyzing sales performance and competitive market dynamics.
  • Excellent understanding of the U.S. market and its specific commercial needs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
