The Manager of Retail Operations (Store Systems & Workforce Management) position frequently interacts with store leadership and cross-functional corporate business partners. Work includes but is not limited to store development, transformation objectives, project management, execution, and communication of store policies, procedures, and practices that maximize productivity and improve the customer experience. The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational excellence of our retail channel and will provide operational support for all retail locations and the retail management leadership team. This role may supervise additional operational employees.


Responsibilities:

Store Systems and WFM:

  • Oversee and develop in-store systems across the organization (Teamwork and POS environment).
  • Work to continuously improve, automate, and evolve in-store processes and systems to enhance the customer and employee experience.
  • Become a subject matter expert on in-store systems (POS/Teamwork)& scheduling applications and platforms.
  • Oversee end-to-end process implementation, including project planning, testing, and effectively communicating all system/process updates to the field. Ensure a monitoring and measuring process follows each deployment.
  • Drive in-store KPI attainment for Payroll measurables such as Hours budget achievement and SPH attainment.
  • Provide concise and valuable reporting to the field to support the execution of operational tasks within stores.p
  • Perform qualitative analysis on all proposed projects, initiatives, and enhancements; Liaise between IT/BI, stores, and field management on technology initiatives.
  • Work closely with finance BPs to establish effective payroll management processes and monitor and measure components for stores.
  • Provide effective communication regarding workload planning, hour distribution and priorities to the field.
  • Partner with retail leadership, finance, operations, and recruiting/HR to determine appropriate headcount and payroll planning for each half conducive to business growth and customer needs.
  • Lead/design business processes and standard operating procedures for new store operations and technology initiatives and maintain ongoing standards.
  • Create and maintain related SOPs, policies, and procedures for the company; Provide subsequent retail store and SSC business partner training.


The Successful Senior Manager will be able to:

  • Demonstrate organizational agility and effectively gain consensus across multiple departments, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Effectively prioritize meeting critical deadlines and managing projects.
  • Understand through knowledge and firsthand experience what it is like to work in-store at various levels and apply this understanding to all processes and systems. Takes the store's voice into consideration before launching initiatives.
  • Maintains curiosity and has a passion for continuous learning.
  • Highly skilled in data analytics, utilizing data to uncover trends and making suggestions on improving the business overall.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly identify emerging problems and their root causes to create solutions.


Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • Systems savvy and possesses excellent computer skills. Proficient in Excel, Google Docs/Drive, and POS/Mobile operating systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.


Salary range: $85,000.00 -90,000.00*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
