Objectives

The Retail Operations coordinator with support in developing and successfully implementing the brand inventory strategy within the retail network along with supporting special projects. Retail Inventory Coordinator will ensure excellence in retail store inventory management across retail stores, manage special projects, and to ensure stores inventory standards are maintained to align with Diptyque expectations.

Role Responsibilities


Inventory Management

  • Regroup information from stores and corporate partners to ensure efficient communication flow.
  • Management of in house inbound and outbound fulfillment operations
  • Ensure that all goods are cleared through Retail Pro and received in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with the store teams to ensure seamless inbound inventory movement acceptance
  • Develop and implement KPI’s to measure efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Effectively manage Diptyque’ s inventory to ensure timely and correct order fulfillment, minimize backorders, and promote inventory turns
  • Utilize key metrics to improve, manage and maintain an efficient workflow of product.
  • Run and Distribute weekly Retail Pro reports
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive inventory strategy that will align with company expectations
  • Assess deliverables, and utilizing resources to help eliminate process pain points
  • Create and implement efficient communication tools
  • Prepare and lead inventory calls/meetings
  • Partner with and influence key cross-functional partners locally and globally.


Allocations

  • Assist in store allocations on a as need basis with partnership of allocations manager.
  • Work with warehouse as well as demand planning team on store needs.
  • Have a strong understanding of Navision as well as Retail Pro.


New Store Openings

  • Assist in leading project managing the timing, utilities, vendor setup and supply ordering/acquisition of all related and needed items for opening and store use.
  • Organize frequent communication amongst all in the know business partners on relevant dates surrounding all aspects of a new store opening in partnership with the Store Development team
  • Onsite setup of store as needed


Reporting

  • Build and analyze business reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Compile and analyze feedback on opportunities and successes.
  • Format information for leadership presentation
  • Pull any market benchmark or reports needed to assess the retail network.


Communication

  • Regroup information from stores and corporate partners to ensure efficient communication flow.
  • Create and implement efficient communication tools
  • Partner with and influence key cross-functional partners locally and globally.
  • Facilitate meeting minutes as well as gatekeeper of business review
  • Draft and distribute weekly memos.


Management

  • Lead by example and model behavior that reflects the company’s core values.
  • In partnership with the leadership team, manage overall team performance & growth on omnichannel operations and client experience:
  • Manage performance, handle issues & resolve conflict in a calm, objective & fact-based manner.
  • Provide consistent feedback, training & coaching on company guidelines.


Skills/Attributes

  • 2 Years of operations experience / Retail experience preferred.
  • Computer literate and high proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Technology savvy
  • Natural leader with proven ability to manage teams remotely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers, internal and external.
  • “Out of the box” thinker – ability to identify solutions for existing and foreseeable problems.
