We are distributed nationally in major chains such as Albertsons, Kroger, Walmart, Meijer, Target and Whole Foods and are sold locally in several regional chains and independent stores


Who You Are

The Retail Marketing Manager will play a key role in elevating Culture Pop Soda at shelf & in retail. This position will be responsible for the planning & deployment of merchandising materials such as POS and display equipment as well as wearables & other branded items. This position will be tasked with elevating the brand at retail and equipping the sales team with best-in-class selling materials to ensure our presence is maximized in store. The individual in this role should be extremely organized, reliable and highly motivated with experience working in a similar role, ideally in the CPG industry. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong relationship with the internal sales team & act as connector to marketing. Support sales team by spearheading all retail requests, including POS assets, one sheet recaps, wearables, etc.
  • Work with sales team & distribution partners to implement retail display programs and ensure program expectations are met
  • Review and manage requests from sales team, ensure all requests delivered or addressed in a timely manner
  • Manage the development and inventory of POS and wearables. 
  • Act as main point of contact with key vendor partners & own internal distribution platform & inventory management
  • Collaborate with marketing team on the visual merchandising strategy. Ensure Culture Pop always looks #1 in store!
  • Maintain open lines of communication and deliver ongoing updates on key initiatives. Deliver post-mortem analysis of programs, launches, initiatives etc. and include insights/learnings from retail partners and stores
  • Develop full collection of wearables & branded items that encourage brand loyalty & excitement in the field.
  • Coordinate with Event Director on the planning and execution of store demos & sampling
  • Oversee POS & Wearables budget and report appropriately on programs deployed
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activity and changing shopper behaviors


What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a role responsible for hitting deadlines, managing multiple projects at once and working cross-functionally
  • Ability to project manage and meet strict deadlines for in-store activations and programs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively and anticipate needs
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills
  • Proficiencies: Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, Forecasting/Demand Planning
  • Self starter and independent worker who can take a proactive approach to role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities
  • Creativity & ability to think outside the box and innovate
  • Experience working in CPG industry a plus
  • Must be willing to work in office in Cambridge, MA 3 days a week
