OVERVIEW

This new role is responsible for supporting field leader and store teams in bringing Alo’s guest experience to life across their full store journey. In support of Alo’s growth, this role will play a pivotal role in development of Alo’s selling and service model, learning curriculum, product knowledge, selling programs (e.g. Clientelling), content development, and content delivery. Through virtual and in-store training delivery, this role has the direct ability to impact Alo’s growth in key performance indicators including conversion, UPT, ATV, and category performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become a leading expert in Alo's products, mission, vision, values, culture, operations, and guest experience.
  • Deliver quantifiable KPI improvements through virtual and in-store training delivery on guest experience, selling programs, and coaching models.
  • Contribute to selling and service learning curriculum development, course development, and micro-learning videos through prioritization, storyboarding, video recording, and training asset creation.
  • Host cluster market group trainings based on business needs and to support new program rollouts.
  • Support delivery and execution of new store opening induction training sessions.
  • Review district and store-level reporting and partner with District Managers to determine performance gaps that can be resolved through additional training.
  • Monitor and drive action on training completion rates for districts and stores within the East span.
  • Support development and rollout of Alo’s new retail clientelling program, including associated training material and rollout strategy.
  • Strategically plan out market visits in alignment with business needs and performance gaps.
  • Provide timely training visit feedback and assessments to relevant stakeholders including District Managers.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous retail store management experience required as a Store Manager. Multi-unit store leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in planning and execution of a retail clientelling program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a multi-unit retail training role.
  • Passionate about creating and maintaining an environment of ongoing education & development.
  • Strong public speaking and content facilitation skills across varying levels of experience and group size.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills.
  • Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, able to lead by example and coach on the spot.
  • Strong experience using relevant applications, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and basic video editing (preferred).
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to building relationships and resolving challenges.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, creative, and emotional intelligence.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced working environment that requires balancing multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%+ within region and to HQ as required by business needs.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
