Position Overview: As a Retail Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support our retail operations. Reporting into the Snr Director of Recruitment and the Director of HR Retail you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing candidates to onboarding them with our HR retail team, ensuring that Skims retail is staffed with the best individuals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with HR Partner and Retail Leadership to develop recruitment strategies tailored to each location
Source candidates through various channels, including physically, job boards, social media, networking, and industry events and campus connectivity.
Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Partner with the HR team to develop and implement recruitment initiatives, such as employer branding efforts and talent acquisition programs and recruitment events.
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to recruitment management, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Proactively build pipeline for future retail roles
Act as a consultative partner to the retail team and provide guidance for applicant tracking systems actions
Qualifications
Proven experience as a recruiter, experience in retail is a MUST.
Strong understanding of retail operations and the unique challenges of recruiting in dispersed environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and retail teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, Lever is preferable, and recruitment software.
Ability to travel to various locations as needed and work across time zones.
Ability to be flexible, recruitment is never a 9-5 position.
Experience building and consulting recruitment process and capability building resources for retail teams
