As a Retail Development Representative at Ferris Coffee and Nut Company, your primary focus will be on fostering, cultivating, and strengthening partnerships to drive sales with our distribution partners, food brokers, retail store management and key retailer decision makers. Your strategic insight, ability to cultivate trust, and entrepreneurial spirit will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and improving market performance throughout the territory.

This role requires a self-motivated, resilient, and strategic thinker who demonstrates accountability and teamwork. The ideal candidate achieves results through effective relationship building and exceptional communication skills, contributing to our mission of creating moments of joy through our products.

IN A NUTSHELL

  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with distribution partners and key retailer decision maker to develop and implement sales strategies that achieve targets and expand market share.
  • Retail Engagement: Conduct product training, provide marketing support, and assist with merchandising to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Execute promotional plans, deliver sales presentations, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to share customer insights and ensure cohesive strategies across functions.


PERFECT INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail sales, preferably in consumer packaged goods or food and beverage industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
