Retail Brand Manager

Summary

The Retail Brand Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing the company’s online and offline sales strategy. This role oversees the e-commerce operations and the merchandise team for brick-and-mortar locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a deep understanding of the e-commerce industry, digital marketing, website development, and retail management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the overall operations of the website and maintain a seamless user experience.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, assisting with product selection and resolving issues promptly.
  • Optimize product listings with detailed descriptions, high-quality visual assets, and accurate specifications to enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop concepts, layouts, and promotional activities that align with brand strategy and drive sales.
  • Set product pricing following industry trends, competitive analysis, and the company's sales strategy
  • Monitor Inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and logistic partners on stock availability and delivery.
  • Oversee the merchandise department, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team to achieve sales and operational goals
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales results and performance metrics to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic and sales, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns
  • Analyze website performance and customer behavior using analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ecommerce and retail management to maintain a competitive edge
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages one subordinate manager who supervise a total of 4+ employees in the merchandise department, Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, or related fields is preferred but not required.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain a NV cannabis agent card.
