We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Branch Services Representative to join our team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry and a passion for providing exceptional service to our members. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including handling transactions, addressing member inquiries, and promoting our financial products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service to all Members, volunteers, and internal and external partners.
Actively participate in branch, departmental, and organizational meetings.
Safeguard the confidentiality of Member and organization information by following established policies and procedures.
Communicate information effectively both verbally and in writing.
Perform teller transactions efficiently and routinely reconcile all cash entities.
Address Member inquiries, concerns, and feedback with accurate and helpful responses.
Recommend and cross-sell appropriate products and services to meet Members' financial needs.
Collect and verify necessary information from Members to complete membership and loan applications/funding, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
Maintain and update files for various account types and Member profiles.
Assist in the execution of operational audits.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in banking, credit union, or a similar financial services environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software systems.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Availability to work 4 weekdays including Saturdays from 9am-3pm
