Who are you? You believe the purpose of education should be for social justice. You constantly ask yourself, how can what I am teaching be applied to make the world better for all? You believe that children can do anything and it's your responsibility to create the experiences that support them in doing that. When you hear about grand ideas, you don't get scared because you don't know how to facilitate that, you grab some resources, a partner and figure it out! If you are asking children to persevere, be self directed, make change in their community, guess what, you hold yourself to the same standards! You recognize that true learning is integrated so you feel that it is of paramount importance to help children discover and sharpen their identities as they work and learn. Finally, you care deeply about being able to see and track learning so you obsess over strong thinking routines, assessments, and standards– but children never feel that because the experience feels natural, fun, exciting, and like they are becoming exactly who they want to be.

In this role you will get to:

• Develop transformational relationships with learners and RevX team
• Commit to being on an identity development and reflective personal journey
• Work with team to develop and refine the design of modules
• With your co-facilitator, implement modules with ~20 children
• Provide personal coaching (conferencing) to children weekly
• Meaningfully integrate families in learning process
• Record evidence of learning and use that to modify the module
• Collaborate with team to codify the module when completed
  
  

Example Day in the Life: Mondays and Fridays for team meetings and instructional planning. Tuesday-Thursday facilitating modules with children.
