Job Description

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. This is a full-time on-site role located in Ronkonkoma, NY for a Restoration Administration position at Rainbow International of the North Shore. As a Restoration Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the restoration of residential and commercial buildings. The role requires client interaction and coordination with the construction and remediation crews to ensure quality work and timely completion. The Restoration Administrator will also be responsible for creating and submitting permits, insurance claims, and keeping precise records.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and coordinate active calendars
  • Schedule and confirm meetings
  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction administration or related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing conditions
  • Experience filing insurance claims for residential buildings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Xactimate, Verisk, CoreLogic
  • Experience working with insurance adjusters, and building owners
  • Job File Coordination-daily monitoring of job file status, and clients/insurance needs
  • Job File Documentation-review & validate documentation that is turned in from the field
  • Writing estimates for insurance & non-insurance jobs
  • Job File Billing & Reporting-review & complete job file documentation for billing & job close out
  • Excellent customer service, administrative, verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Xactimate, Verisk, CoreLogic, MICA

Hours

This is a 9:00am-5:00pm position. However, there may be times where our business needs change based on circumstantial weather events, etc., that may require flexibility in hours.

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
