YOUR IMPACT

Wingstop is seeking a Manager, Restaurant Technology Solutions to join our growing team.

This role will oversee the administration, support and enhancements of the NCR Aloha POS and back office systems to ensure uptime and availability for Wingstop restaurants. Additionally, this role will provide oversight in the delivery of new initiatives, promotions and procedural improvements (both hardware and software) as well as manage the POS infrastructure and troubleshoot when problems arise.

This role partners cross-functionally within the organization, particularly with Operations, Marketing, Digital as well as externally with third-party vendors.

The Manager, Restaurant Technology Solutions will have a deep understanding of Point of Sale operations, front and back end (preferably NCR Aloha and NBO).Working knowledge and experience with KDS is also preferred.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive day to day functional technical business analysis processes with an eye towards continuous improvement, including documentation, stakeholder approval, accurate estimates, appropriate testing and accountability for team level commitments.
  • Assist and advise in the design, development, testing, integration and customization of point of sale initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure that requested changes are properly vetted, planned, tested and implemented and do not present risk to service delivery
  • Proactively manage the POS infrastructure, including following and developing new procedures and best practices for managing configuration changes and software upgrades
  • Oversee planning and execution of CMC software upgrades
  • Thought leadership for Restaurant Technology in terms of architecture, integration, technology lifecycle hardware refresh, software testing, release management, etc
  • Spearhead troubleshooting with team with respect to POS and back office issues
  • Advise and mentor team members

You will be responsible for interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into priority-setting with your team, driving process improvement across both teams, and building and managing relationships with Brand Partners. You will manage a mix of internal resources and 3rd Party Vendor Partner resources.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 6-8+ years experience overseeing technical Point of Sale and back office initiatives
  • 5+ years experience leading and collaborating with external vendors
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills including an ongoing awareness of evolution within the industry.
  • NCR Aloha POS, NCR Back office, KDS, BSL experience preferred
