UNITY HEALTH AND REHAB, A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN MIAMI, FL is seeking PART TIME RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS to join our team!
Note: This is a $2.00/hour shift differential on weekends.
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of therapy technician
Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist:
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state
At least 1 year of Ventilator experience, required.
Must be proficient with NetHealth (documentation) and Point Click Care
At least 1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist in long term care, required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion
Must be knowledgeable of respiratory therapy procedures
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., of the respiratory therapy service
NOTE: All Applicants must speak and be able to write in English
