What We Do
As a Title Examiner, you'll play a vital role in examining titles to determine the legal condition of property title, primarily focusing on residential properties. You'll analyze and summarize recorded documents that impact property title, working independently to establish the chain of title and resolve any issues that arise.
What You'll Do
Conduct title examinations for a variety of residential properties, analyzing the chain of title
Abstract and analyze records to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and property descriptions
Resolve discrepancies and issues within title documentation
Prepare initial title commitment documentation following procedural guidelines
Review reports for accuracy and provide underwriting interpretation as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
State license(s) as required
Strong attention to detail and quality
Analytical and research skills
Effective problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service orientation
Proficiency in MS Office suite and company operating systems
Knowledge of legal terms beneficial
Salary Range
$21.63 - $24.03 per hour
