Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Researcher and Editorial Assistant. This role is essential for synthesizing extensive research, drafting detailed literature reviews, and organizing findings into clear, engaging, and scientifically accurate content.


Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth Research: Conduct comprehensive research on the therapeutic use of food and dietary supplements for various health conditions.
  • Literature Reviews: Draft detailed, non-academic literature reviews for each section, ensuring that all information is thoroughly researched and supported by scientific evidence.
  • Content Development: Integrate research findings into coherent, accessible content that bridges scientific evidence with practical health advice.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team to ensure content is scientifically robust and reader-friendly.
  • Organization: Manage and organize research materials, references, and drafts using Zotero to support the writing and editing process.
  • Editorial Assistance: Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and engagement.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Post-doc or recent Ph.D. graduate in science, nutrition, public health, or a related field from a distinguished institution.
  • Academic Excellence: GPA of 3.8 or higher with a record of academic distinction.
  • Research Skills: Proven experience in conducting in-depth research and synthesizing complex information into clear, concise summaries.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with a knack for translating scientific research into accessible content.
  • Organizational Abilities: Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple research projects and deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using research databases and tools such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Zotero. Experience with ChatGPT for content development and research is a plus.
  • Passion for Nutrition: Strong interest in food, nutrition, and health equity.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
