InfinixBio, a Columbus based biotechnology company, is seeking applicants with bachelors or masters degrees for laboratory positions as research technicians in the fields of Bioanalytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Microbiology or a related field. A qualified applicant will support research, development, and testing of diagnostic and therapeutic products for the biotechnology industry. The work requires someone who can perform fundamental lab procedures independently, is eager to learn new techniques and who, in addition to performing experiments, is interested in understanding the reasons behind each experiment. This is a full-time position near OSU campus.
Qualifications:
The successful research technician candidate should have experience using bioanalytical techniques such as HPLC, biochemical techniques such as protein purification, cell and molecular biology techniques such as gene cloning or mammalian cell culture, or microbiological techniques such as bacterial growth and detection. Familiarity with procedures such as protein expression, PCR, gel electrophoresis, column chromatography, ELISA, Western Blots, or LC-MS is desirable.
