Under administrative direction of the Managing Director of the UNH Data Science Core with direct supervision from the Assistant Core Director, and under the purview of the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, this position will provide expertise, technical consultations, and project management tracking and support for research projects, assume supervisory responsibility for Data Science Core technical staff, and carry out instructional and outreach activities in areas relevant to the mission of the Data Science Core.

Other minimum qualifications
PhD in statistics, biostatistics, data science or closely related field.
Prior experience providing statistical consulting and research project design and analysis.
Proficiency and demonstrated mastery of programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data analytics applications in engineering and the life sciences. Teaching experience at the university level.
Demonstrated capability of developing new data analytic methods or adapting statistical methods for new applications.
Experience in multiple programing languages.
Demonstrated ability to work in Linux.
Experience in grant proposal development.
