Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Research Compliance Analyst, you will support the Research Compliance Program by conducting compliance research, reviewing regulations and industry publications, and developing training materials and department guidance documents. You will assist in risk assessment and handle research compliance inquiries and investigations. Reporting to the Research Compliance Manager, you will conduct regular, ad hoc, and for-cause audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and our policies related to responsible study conduct and the protection of human subjects in research.
Key Responsibilities Include
Collaborating with the Research Compliance Manager to schedule and coordinate audits
Independently conducting onsite or remote internal audits to assess compliance
Documenting findings and required actions in audit reports
Providing one-on-one and informal training while reviewing audit reports with study teams
Guiding research departments in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and developing Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans
Following up on action items to ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in life sciences, medical research, nursing, or related healthcare field and 5+ years of clinical research experience, OR
Associate degree in healthcare (administration or research-related field) and 7+ years of clinical research experience
Required Licensure/Certification
Research certification through professional organizations such as SOCRA, ACRP, or SRA
Preferred Licensure/Certification
Active State of Florida Registered Nurse or other professional licensure
Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) through the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) via the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA)
