Position Description

A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of the research mission of the unit, its director or faculty, in laboratory, library, field, or computer work, or such other activities as may assist in the unit's research efforts.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Assist faculty with research.
  • Perform research-related duties such as gathering, reading, and reviewing the research literature, designing research, collecting and analyzing data, preparing manuscripts for submission, presenting research at conferences, etc..
  • Work 20 hours per week.
  • Complete and submit weekly work activity reports to the supervisor.
  • Live in Lubbock, Texas or a surrounding community and be able to commute to the TTUHSC campus and work in person.

Required Qualifications

Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research experience in rehabilitation science or a related area
  • Clinical experience in rehabilitation science or a related area
  • Certification or licensure in athletic training, audiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.
