Research Associate, Private Capital

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Associate, Private Capital for our client a specialty private capital firm. As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in selecting profitable investment opportunities and managing their portfolios. Your primary duties will include conducting in-depth analysis of companies' financial performance, industry trends, and growth potential to determine investment viability.

Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify potential investment opportunities through extensive market research and financial analysis.
• Outbound prospect qualification and company research
• Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
• Financial Modeling and Analysis: Create comprehensive financial models to assess potential returns on investment.
• Due Diligence and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate investment risks and mitigate them effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
• Some experience or exposure in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, accounting, and financial statements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary starts at 85k, plus bonus
