Vital Research is searching for a talented and motivated Research Associate II to join our dynamic team. We partner with organizations of all sizes to evaluate the impact of social programs, helping them improve the lives of people in our communities.
In this role, you'll play a key role in managing and supporting research projects across a variety of areas, like education, health, and aging. You'll draft research materials, collect and analyze data, and help us communicate findings to our clients and the public.
Here's What You'll Be Doing
Lead the charge: You'll manage research projects from start to finish, from planning and data collection to analysis and reporting.
Data whiz: You'll oversee data collection across different methods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Storyteller: You'll analyze data (both quantitative and qualitative) and translate it into clear, compelling reports and presentations.
Client champion: You'll communicate effectively with clients, answer their questions, and provide expert guidance.
Team player: You'll collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure project success.
Are you a good fit?
You hold a Master's degree or Ph.D. in a social science field (like education, public health, or sociology).
You have 4+ years of experience in research or evaluation, with a strong background in mixed methods.
You're a natural leader with excellent communication and client management skills.
You have a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently and collaboratively.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience supervising a research team.
Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).
