We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our Research team. This role would be ideal for someone passionate about mental health research and eager to contribute to innovative projects in a purpose-driven environment. This is a remote, contract role with an estimated workload of 10 - 15 hours per week. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.

You Will

  • Support the data collection and management efforts for ongoing research projects, including maintaining a log of Talkspace activities for the CPT for PTSD grant study
  • Aid recruitment of participants and therapists for the NIH supported CPT for PTSD trial and provide additional support as needed
  • Build knowledge base on key topics of interest and importance to future research and product efforts at Talkspace (e.g., natural language processing, text-based therapy outcomes, mechanisms of behavior change) for use in future reviews
  • Assist with authorship of publications
  • Generate and test research hypotheses pertaining to therapist effects and the therapeutic processes underlying the effectiveness of the platform
  • Provide support to any/all other additional research efforts as needed and at the direction of the Research Director and/or Research Project Manager

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in human subjects research.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $22/hour.
