Research Analyst

The Job Description: 

As a Research Analyst, you will apply your analytical skills to many aspects to support the company’s operations. This ‘jack-of-all-trades role will support all departments through detailed analysis to implement best practices and data driven results. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Research, track, analyze, and report on both internal company and external market analytics. 
• Research information on current/past capital markets and domestic and global economy.  
• Contribute to weekly and quarterly market and strategy commentaries. 
• Complete due diligence questionnaires from our partners. 
• Populate databases with strategy data. 
• Maintain performance composites in line with GIPS®. 
• Collaborate and strategize with leadership to implement and produce effective internal and external partnerships. 
• Champion best practices across supported teams. 
• Perform other duties as assigned or required. 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry is preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Experience using Orion or similar portfolio accounting system is preferred. 
• Experience using Redtail or another primary CRM system is preferred. 
• Experience in creating and maintaining cross-functional partner relationships. 
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and a leader. 
• Creative thinker with strong organizational skills. 
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the financial services industry – experience with SMAs and ETFs is preferred. 
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
