The Research Aide will primarily work on MRI image processing. The Research Aide will perform a variety of duties in support of the goals, objectives, and protocols of research projects within an assigned group at the F. M. Kirby Research Center.
Course work in computer science or biology is preferred.
- Assist with the implementation of and perform MRI studies on both humans and animals.
- Assist Faculty member with processing all MRI images for publication.
- Obtain informed consent for research studies by contacting eligible participants/parents by
- Complete literature searches/reviews upon request.
- Assist with preparing grant applications, conference submissions, and manuscripts, by developing
- Assist with the preparation of presentations for internal and external groups.
- Research focus is on the animal MRI studies.
- High school diploma is required.
- Undergraduate study in Computer Science, Physics or related field preferred.
Course work in computer science or biology is preferred.
