The Opportunity:

Puig is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Data Analyst to support the Consumer Insights and Market Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market and brand data within the dynamic beauty industry. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions, driving brand innovation, and fueling our company's growth. What you’ll get to do:

  • Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Extract and analyze quantitative data from various sources, including Circana, Looker, and other
  • external and internal data sources.
  • Utilize analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to analyze data and identify
  • findings.
  • Reporting and Presentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing key insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate findings to internal stakeholders through clear and concise presentations.
  • Develop visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present data effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to provide insights that inform strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external research vendors and partners as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in analytics.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.


We’d love to meet you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, ideally using Circana or Nielsen data.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell,
  • Word).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Agility to change direction given shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Internship or academic project experience in analytics is a plus.
  • Beauty experience is a plus.


Compensation:

As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000.00 - $95,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure. In addition to the base salary, PUIG offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, a generous paid time-off policy, hybrid work environment, and career opportunities within a dynamic team.
