Reports To: Marketing Business Intelligence Team Manager

Position location: This is a limited remote position (with the option for hybrid in the KC area). Candidates MUST reside in KS, MO, or OK in order to be considered. No exceptions.

Caliber Financial Services is seeking a Reporting Analyst who is responsible for supporting the development of marketing strategies and tactics while ensuring compliance with financial plans. The incumbent must be able to work with various disparate data sources and manage information into actionable business intelligence. This individual will design various reports, BI dashboards, and data extraction workflows. They will help manage outside vendors to gain access to additional data sources for analysis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Extract/transform business data using SQL
• Create new SSRS reports using SQL
• Alter existing SSRS reports
• Create new Business Intelligence dashboards based on business demands
• Alter existing Business Intelligence dashboards
• Monitor existing business metrics and communicate effectively with various departments about different business solutions
• Uncover meaningful consumer insights by observing consumer behavior
• Ensure new system features and functions are working properly by researching database for correct data records and responses
• Research and recommend areas of optimization and gains in efficiency
  
  

Recommended Experience

• Demonstrable SQL Skills
• Must be able to pull, combine, transform and aggregate data using SQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data Science, Math, or a related field
• If the candidate doesn’t have a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields listed above, comparable experience, certificates, achievements etc. would be considered.
• Prior experience with Business Intelligence programs (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
• Should be able to create basic BI reports and use the various functions to transform data and gain insight
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Prior knowledge of Excel to perform data analysis, Outlook for email communication, Teams for communication and organization, etc
  

Experience & Education

• 1-5 years of analytical experience in an underwritten industry (lending, insurance, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
• Desire to stay on the cutting edge of analytical tools, methodologies, and platforms
