Replaces defective components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
Enters information on all completed work in Delta’s ERP systems.
Required Qualifications for the Position
Education, previous experience, technical knowledge, skills required for the job
Education:
Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent education or work experience is required.
EE or EET is a plus.
Job Experience:
Previous experience with soldering and repair of electronic circuits is required.
Previous experience with using schematics and drawings to troubleshoot electronic circuits is required.
Past experience working with rectifier circuitry preferred.
Working knowledge of oscilloscope, multi meters, and other meters are preferred.
Proficiency using a computer and various software tools is required.
Quick adaptation to learning new software tools is required.
Technical/ Professional skills:
Demonstrated proficiency with computer software to include MS Office (Word and Excel) and e-mail.
Knowledge of industry standard soldering requirements and techniques preferred.
Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Leadership skills, if appl.:
Setting and defining objectives and goals.
Establishing priorities.
Time Management — managing one's own time.
General skills (language, IT, etc.): Effective communications skills, written and oral, are required.
