The Renewal Specialist is responsible for managing subscription accounts in our renewal book of business. This role entails generating renewal quotes, proactively contacting customers with expiring subscriptions, handling high-volume renewal activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a high renewal rate. The Renewal Specialist will have customer-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Create subscription renewal quotes for existing customers.
  • Proactively contact customers with expiring subscriptions to maximize renewal rates.
  • Manage the high-volume renewal activities, including quoting and ensuring timely renewals.
  • Address internal and external inquiries regarding renewal accounts and quoting.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success teams to provide renewal opportunities for strategic accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Amplify products and effectively differentiate them from competing programs.
  • Advance service issues to the appropriate parties and work collaboratively to ensure satisfactory resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Use Salesforce.com to organize and track renewal status for assigned territory customers.
  • Maintain customer information and renewal activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of the renewal process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Undertake additional projects as assigned to support the overall objectives of the Renewals team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and/or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications
  • Experience with sales and/or contract renewals, showcasing a proven track
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time, for training and national sales meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ of professional work experience in the K-12 education space
  • Understanding of Amplify’s products
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets with an understanding of pivot tables and vlookups
  • Self-motivated, diligent, persistent, dependable, and possessing strong leadership skills.
  • Additional travel may exist for additional professional development opportunities, which will be presented as appropriate but not required.

What We Offer

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $55,000 - $57,000. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
