We are excited to hire a Remote Wellness Director (Physician) to join our team! You will coordinate the medical aspect of our wellness and testing services.

Responsibilities:

• Review medical and wellness services/protocols
• Plan and sign visit records for clients as required
• Work collaboratively with manager and program director to implement appropriate wellness programs
• Perform good faith exams for clients to ensure patient safety
• Place orders for clients and approve supplies for operating wellness services
• Enforce healthcare policies and procedures within the Medical scope of practice
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must have an M.D. or D.O degree, with board certification in Family Medicine required
• Must have current licensure from the Texas Medical Board that is in good standing.
• Licensed Physician in the state of residence and Texas (additional states are a bonus)
• Must have unrestricted eligibility to participate in the network for Medicare/Medicaid/Other third-party payers.
• Previous experience in healthcare or other medical fields (Functional Medicine is a plus), including implementing clinical practice guidelines, resource utilization, and cost management initiatives with internal staff, contractors, stakeholders, and community partners.
• Experience supervising multiple medical staff
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as JCAHO and HIPAA
• Knowledgeable on the Medical scope of practice
• Experience in remote role or telehealth is preferred
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to use a personal device for scheduling and operate handheld devices for client registration.
• Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Reliable and willing to provide empathetic care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License.
  
  

Note: This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary

Job Type: PRN, Contract

Pay: earn up to $1000 monthly (monthly rates available if commitment is signed)
