We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Quality Assurance who will play a pivotal role in our technology organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing Quality Assurance teams with a strong emphasis on automation and will also have hands-on experience with software QA automation. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance across our suite of fintech SaaS products and solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, setting high standards and expectations for quality and performance.
Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that includes manual and automated testing processes.
Oversee the creation, implementation, and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and testing scripts.
Collaborate with product management and software development teams to ensure quality is embedded in both processes and technology.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage offshore teams through 3rd party vendors, ensuring they adhere to established QA standards and processes.
Utilize tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Katalon or similar tools to automate testing procedures.
Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all testing and QA processes.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Monitor and report on QA metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior QA leadership role, preferably within the fintech or SaaS industry.
Proven experience with QA methodologies, software testing, and process improvement.
Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Katalon.
Experience managing offshore teams.
Excellent understanding of SaaS applications and their associated data and security requirements.
Demonstrated ability in managing and executing large and complex projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of finance industry regulations and standards would be an advantage.
