As a Senior Principal Architect, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in architectural design and planning. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the architectural process, from initial concept development to construction completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead architectural design concepts in collaboration with project teams
Review and approve architectural plans and drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Conduct thorough plan checks to ensure accuracy and quality of work
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on track with timelines and budgets
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architectural technology
Qualifications
Minimum of 11 years of experience in architectural design and planning
Have an Architecture License, NCARB Certified is also a big plus
Strong knowledge of architecture principles, building codes, and construction methods
Experience with plan check and reviewing architectural drawings
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and other design software
Attention to detail and ability to provide innovative solutions to design challenges
